I’ve read all of the reviews, watched a ton of vids on youtube, but was still a bit skeptical. Not being able to feel/test it for myself before purchase always comes with a risk. However, in this case the reviews are true. I have a 2017 Titan XD diesel, and it has god awful acceleration in stock trim. I love everything about this truck, except that acceleration issue. I’ve had it into the dealer complaining about it time and time again. All of their software updates didn’t address the issues at hand. This product has fixed this issue now.Install was extremely easy. Mine has remote start, so what I did, to make sure not to pop a code, was to take apart the key fobs. Don’t forget to do your secondary key set as well. I then let the truck sit in the garage for about 10min, instructions only say to let sit 5min, but I’m cautious. I have mine tucked up under the dash. I use Pedal Commander’s iPhone app to control the unit. It also has an app for Android should you have that.Only downside to it, is that it doesn’t auto shut off when the truck turns off. Not a huge deal, just have to remember to turn it off after driving.First impressions are that this unit is amazing. I haven’t yet tested it to see how the Eco mode works with gas savings. Will update this post once I do get around to it.

I have a 2017 Titan XD Diesel. I bought this product on the widely held belief that it will eliminate the throttle lag that is common in these trucks. The hard truth it, it doesn’t. It actually doesn’t even help, not even a little.It DOES make the truck more lively, because it is basically just amplifying the signal from the accelerator pedal, but really the effect is indistinguishable from pushing the pedal farther. I can get the truck to behave the exact same way without the Pedal Commander by simply driving with a lead foot.But, the throttle lag is still there, and just as bad as it is without the pedal commander.One other very bad thing that you need to look out for if you have a Titan Diesel is that this device amplifies the pedal signal so much that the truck’s torque management system will continue to accelerate the vehicle even after you remove your foot from the accelerator pedal. The TMS in the Titan limits the rate of change of torque output from the motor (because the transmission they used in this truck is not that good) so the torque output falls off slowly when you go from 100% fuel to 0%. Basically if you drive with a lead food (which is what this device basically does – translates your inputs to a lead food signal) you can get into trouble with uncommanded acceleration.The tl;dr is, though, don’t waste your money on this thing if you have a TItan Diesel. It won’t help.UPDATE: I ended up returning this item. One day I noticed that the truck would accelerate slightly for seemingly no reason. After a while I figured out that whenever my APRS beacon would transmit, the pedal commander would accelerate the truck. This kind of RF immunity issue is very unsafe so I returned it while I still could.

Makes the dead pedal problem in these trucks more bearable. I found that city 0 setting is the most all around good setting without moving the shift points too high in the rpm range i have also seen a little bit of fuel savings since i have started using it. the price is steep but but it does help and i like my truck just not the dead pedal.

I don’t typically leave reviews unless a product makes an impression. I was super sceptical of this product but a friend highly recommended it so I went for it. I have only had this installed for a day but initial reaction is its awesome. I have a gen II nissan titan xd diesel that experiences dead pedal, turbo leg or whatever you want to call it. Installation might of took 3 minutes. Maybe… Anyone can do it. I am amazed at how much more responsive the truck is. I love my truck but this has just improved my biggest knock on it. Had a ton of fun driving it around today. Crazy to turn it on and off and feel the difference. Great product. Must have for Titan XD Diesel owners.

I have a 2020 titan with the dreaded “dead” pedal and throttle lag. After alot of online research of real life reviews i came across this product. It took literally 1 min to plug in and 2 min to find a place to mount the control. My first test drive was amazing. Took all the lag out and no more dead pedal. I recommend city mode for around town for sure. Because sport mode is a lil much and sport+ turns your vehicle into race car. Unlocks all the power the factory “tuned out” of your car. Plus it wont void your warranty like a tuner will. Buy the Pedal Commander you wont be dissappointed!!!….. and if for some reason it just dont do what you want it to do no problem they have a money back guarantee!

2019 Nissan Titan XD Platinum Reserve. As soon as I installed the commander I noticed a difference right away. Install took about 2 minutes. Makes a huge difference and now my my truck went from a slug to a rabbit off the starting line. Yes, it does rev your RPMs much higher but that can be controlled with the demand put on the gas pedal. I tried sport+ mode and the launch is insane. The Cummins roars. Time will tell how the Pedal Commander holds up.

This product did operate as advertised. It did help a little with pedal lag, but don’t forget if u have a diesel it does nothing for your turbo Lag. So it’s mixed feelings for this product, I have it a “4” due to the fact it did what it’s advertised to do. With that…. if your putting a tuner on your truck this might be great as u can adjust it and get most of the lag out with tuner.

I have one on a 2022 Titan and it makes for a very snappy response the way it’s designed and works. Different from competitors which is why I went with the Pedal Monster. Hook-up is easy and Banjs stands by their products!
