I BOUGHT THE OTC TIMING LIGHT BECAUSE I GOT TIRED OF BUYING TIMING LIGHTS THAT YOU ONLY GET TO USE TWO OR THREE TIMES BEFORE THEY’RE JUNK. IT’S NOT A TOOL YOU USE A LOT, BUT WHEN YOU NEED ONE, YOU NEED ONE. THEN I PULLED OUT THE TIMING LIGHT TO USE, AND IT LET ME DOWN. SO I WENT TO OTC, AND THEY DIDN’T SHOW THEY OFFERED A REPLACEMENT LEAD. I WAS LIVID. SO I STARTED SHOPPING FOR A NEW LIGHT, AND CAME ACROSS, THE LEAD. WAY CHEAPER THAN A NEW LIGHT. SO NOW I’M HAPPY WITH MY LIGHT AGAIN. I HOPE THIS ONE GIVES ME BETTER SERVICE THAN THE ONE THAT CAME WITH THE LIGHT. TIME WILL TELL

delicate, the powered “iron core” gets smashed over time.but this is the case for all of these types of pickups.at least it works.

This is a nice timing light Lead. It even fits and works for a Matco Timing Light model MTL4186 which is why I bought it. 🙂
