Works well for a fair price. I can’t speak for the long term quality, but when I tested it for 10 minutes it worked well and I was able to get 125kw from it. I’m mainly going to use it as a last resort type of situation.

This adapter works exactly as you’d want it to. It connects securely to supercharger plugs without feeling loose or wobbly, and the build has a sturdy, weighty feel. I’ve used it with a Ford EV on a few longer drives now, and haven’t run into any compatibility issues or overheating.Charging speed has been right in line with what’s advertised, but it also depends on how busy a particular supercharger station is. It’s especially helpful when traveling through areas where other DC fast chargers are limited. The adapter is compact enough to toss in the trunk or glove compartment, and for me, it’s essential when planning longer trips so I’ll never be without charging options.

I’ve been using this adapter for a few weeks now with my Rivian, and it’s been a total game-changer. Being able to charge at Tesla Superchargers has made road trips way less stressful — no more hunting for CCS stations off the beaten path. The adapter is super compact, feels solid, and just works. I was a little nervous the first time I used it, but it clicked right in and started charging without any issues. Honestly, I wish I had this sooner. If you drive a non-Tesla EV, this is a must-have.

The CHARGEWELL NACS to CCS Adapter is a well made and high quality adaptor for utilizing the standard Tesla NACS charging plugs on an American standard CCS vehicle. It is lightweight and well constructed with smooth lines and a good feel. The latches are heavy duty and operate as intended. When leasing my 2024 KIA NIRO EV Wind in November 2024, one of the key points of the sale was that it was promised that it would be open to the Tesla charging network in early 2025. This finally came about in mid April 2025. Days after it was announced, I tested this adapter on a Tesla Supercharger and it worked flawlessly. Simply snap it on to the NACS plug, insert it into the CCS port of the KIA and use the Tesla app to begin charging. The Tesla app reports the progress and shows the running cost for the charge to your credit card. Couldn’t be simpler. The output of the Supercharger was limited by the KIA to between 72 kWh and 45 kWh during the cycle but that was appreciably more than the class II chargers I have been using. After charging, the adapter remained cool to the touch and there were no noticeable odors or other unusual traces of having been used. Using this adapter I was able to obtain 100 miles of range in around 1/2 hour which makes the vehicle useable for long distance trips. I only DC high output charge to 80% which gives me around 175-195 miles full range.I am very pleased with this adaptor and recommend its purchase. The cost of this adapter is very reasonable in light of the increase in utility of the vehicle.

Must-have if you drive a Ford EV and want to use Tesla Superchargers!I picked up this NACS to CCS adapter because I drive a Ford EV and wanted access to the Tesla Supercharger network. This adapter has completely opened up charging options for me, it’s been a total game changer. The connection is solid, it charges fast, and I’ve had no issues so far. It’s rated for high-speed DC charging and lives up to the promise. If you’ve got a Ford (or any other CCS EV) and want more charging flexibility, this is 100% worth it.I dont really notice it getting hot when charging, so thats probably a good thing. I do think that for the money, this thing is great value.
