It is really reliable; I used this for a few charges at the Tesla Superchargers, and it works well. It is easy to attach onto the Supercharger cable and fits right into my car. Make sure to park correctly because the cables at the Superchargers near me are so short! Once attached, this adapter is rock solid. It charges fast and does not overheat. I now have plenty of charging options near me with this adapter.

Or, more accurately, don’t let Tesla owners have all the charging stations. If you drive a Ford, Rivan, or other vehicle with their plug style, using this you can charge in Tesla charging stations. Which, as you know, there are a lot of.I would like to advise caution when using Tesla Supercharger Version 4 stations, because SCV4 charge stations can actually eclipse this adapter’s rated current limit of 500A…they can go up to 615 amps, if memory serves. So if you’re at a V4 station, you may want to limit the charging current in your car’s software to 500A. V 1-3 stations can’t go beyond 500 amps, so there’s nothing to worry about with those.In all, I highly recommend this as an almost necessary piece of gear to keep in your vehicle. Just be mindful of V4 station’s 615 amp max current output and the 500A limit of this adapter. 5 stars.

Doesn’t overheat and the charging rate doesn’t appear to be diminished. Considering how much less expensive this is than an OEM part, I can’t imagine buying the OEM adapter. This is a great adapter at this price point.

The adapter fits well on both ends, is easy to use and does not cause any problems I can detect. Not a whole lot to say here, if have have the need or desire to charge a CCS car with a Tesla charger this will allow you to do the job and will do so just fine within its rated limits. I think most people would be perfectly happy with this.

My husband recently lost the adapter he had in his car for his EV so as soon as I saw this I had to get it for him! It came very well packed and secured with no damage whatsoever from delivery! This feels super high quality and well made! It definitely have some weight to it as well and you can tell the difference between this and some of the cheaper adapters we have. This is just as good as the name brand one as well. It slides on easily and fits perfectly as it should. It charges up quickly and functions as intended. Very impressed by how easy it is to use. Just be sure you review all the makes and models that this is compatible with before purchasing to be sure it will be a good fit for you and as long as you do you’re good to go. Super nice to be able to have this in the car in case he needs an adapter! Great bang for your buck and a solid 10 out of 10. Definitely compatible with what it says it’s compatible with!

Right now this is an ‘oddly specific’ item that can only be used by drivers of Ford & Rivian EVs. First, the backstory: Earlier this year, Ford and Rivian announced they would be transitioning to the J3400 interface from CCS1. That means that Ford/Rivian owners can now use the Tesla Supercharger network. Or they *will* be able to once the proper plug begins to be integrated into new cars. So what if you have a Ford or Rivian EV with a CCS1 plug?Simple–you need an adapter like this one. I know that similar products I’ve tried can only be used with the newest (250kw) Tesla superchargers. The verbiage in the product description suggests that they can be used at the V1 and V2 superchargers that run at a maximum of 150 kw. I haven’t had the opportunity to try the adapter with the older superchargers but it works great on V3 and V4 charging stations. That notwithstanding, it’s a great option for Ford/Rivian EV owners. Other companies are also on board with this adapter now including GM, Nissan, Volvo, etc. Highly recommended!
