Just go to Viking bags and get a much better quality seat for a hundred bucks shipped. This thing is very stiff even for what it is and fitment is terrible. Yes I checked their chart to make sure it was meant for my bike. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Not easy to install to the springs and then to the base plate. I now understand better why some companies who make the springs for such seats machine the spring flat on both ends as opposed to leaving it coiled. Also, would’ve gotten 5 stars for install if the springs had large washers welded to each end of the spring; that would have made the install MUCH easier — something for the manufacturer to consider to set their product apart from competitors. As for the seat comfort — one doesn’t get a thin seat like this expecting comfort. That said, the seat is wider than others I tried so it is actually more comfortable than others, and the springs really soften the ride. Overall I like it, just wish the install was easier (w/o me having to weld or fabricate anything).

I love a solo seat and this is a great one. The fitment assures that it fits a 2008 Honda Shadow but it absolutely does not.

Better than what I had, definitely rusts easily. A little uncomfortable for bigger people, does not feel good on the gooch. Looks very cool though!

I bought this seat and didn’t realize it didn’t come with the pan to attach the seat to. Most important to read everything about it before buying. I did order the pan later but the seat works well, lowered me down about 2 inches for my short self. Love the seat.

I do understand that some things need to be adjusted to fit different needs, however, Mounting bolts for seat springs are way off, seat support springs are at an angle to which they will give no support

Everything was in the package BUT instructions. Took educated guess as to where things went. Looks awesome, feels sturdy enough. Sat on it after install and I will say this, definitely not a long haul seat. Your butt will be sore.9/10 would buy again.
