Possible after installation you will have gap between bumper and splash guards because splash guard does not have side rubber plate. You can use from your old spare or use some universal plate.

I was a little worried about the rubber not being on these, since OEM ones have rubber on on side (You can see what I’m talking about in the 3rd photo of my old OEM with rubber on the left vs this new one on the right). But, they fit directly into the bumper trim perfectly because of no rubber blocking it! So they look cleaner then the OEM rubber ones. Took me about a hour to install both of them.I have a 2001 BMW M5. So they fix on these cars perfectly!

I had my body shop try to install these and they did not fit. With OEM replacements so expensive it would be nice if someone could make these work but this product does not.

Big gap between the engine cover and this wheel well cover. As others said I don’t think it fits the m5. I made it fit, but would have preferred a better mold. This will do for now, but will definitely be looking for something of better quality.Update: I also have a 6 cylinder e39, which happened to have the deeper covers, swapped these into the 525i and those onto the m5 and they both fit perfectly.Lesson learned: THESE WILL ONLY FIT THE 6 CYLINDER CARS. IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE 8 CYLINDER CARS, get m5 specific ones.Upgrading to 4 stars since the fitment on the 525i was perfect.

I bought these for my 525i that I installed a cheap Amazon bumper on. Considering the price compared to Genuine BMW, they are pretty good quality and fit pretty well. Installation went smoothly, and since they’re plastic, they can bend and conform to the shape they need to be. They also came with hardware, which is nice. As other reviews mentioned, they don’t protrude below the bumper as much as genuine ones do, so they won’t line up with an M5’s belly pan, though they fit a bit better on a non-M car. Overall, I’m very happy with them so far
