2003 Hyundai Tiburon v6 6 speed:Symptoms (“No” CEL):Day 1 – 3, slight loss of power, clock resetDay 4 – 7, RPM limited to 3K at full throttle, random complete loss of all power/electrical.Day 8 – With online help, noticed frayed wiring on old sensor and replaced.I ordered the part and it shipped overnight. I pulled the bad sensor and put this one in its place. It half worked. The car started and drove a bit, than died after it was warm. This time the check engine light (CEL) appeared. I attached an OBD II scanner and it read a P0335 code.P0335 = Bad Crankshaft Position SensorI’ll be picking up a new sensor from the Hyundai dealer tomorrow, and likely returning this one. If it does/ does not work out, I’ll update the rating. So far 3 stars for quick shipping and fitment.Update:Turns out this CPS was bad. The CPS I got from the dealer worked perfectly and fixed all of the problems above. I ended up returning the CPS I bought here.

Wish I could write a review for -5 stars. I bought this item while I was out to sea, because I new my crankshaft sensor was going out. I installed this replacement yesterday, and the car wouldn’t start. I put in the old one to get the car staerted and head to the dealer for an exspensive new one. I had this Beck Arnley sensor checked out, and the said it was bad. Here I am stuck with a non working sensor that I can’t return because it has been a month since I purcased it. Do not Beck Arnley products for imports. All Beck Arnley parts and any auto store that sales what they claim as OE parts that has to deal with your electrical or sensors are aftermarket knock offs. If your issue is a sensor then just get it from the dealer, or online from the company that provides the dealer the parts.

This part failed after 16 months. The engine will skip, like it was going to cut off while driving, however the computer initially did notset any codes. The engine eventually stopped while in a parking lot (thankfully). The CEL came on and the set code was P0335 – bad Crank position sensor. This time I went to the dealer and purchased an OEM part. So far the car is running fine. This part shouldn’t be failing this quickly!
