This thing is complete, complete, complete!! First, let me start by saying that this kit is more complete than the similar astro pneumatic kit, and you do not have to purchase any additional caps either. It comes with everything you’ll pretty much ever need, and is the most comprehensive kit available that I’ve seen for radiator pressure tester kits. Another major selling point was that this kit is made in Taiwan versus the Astro kit, which is made in China. This is a really great kit and has been used weekly in a professional setting for the last 6 months or so, and it has really held up. I have not however used the filling system connector yet because I already had one before I purchased this kit. Let’s be real though, you don’t really buy a kit like this for that one piece. You buy it for the caps and connectors to cover the vehicles you work on, or at least that’s why I purchased it. I was interested in the otc 6977 kit available as well because it’s essentially universal and is so much smaller than a kit like this. The reason I decided against it was because the otc kit required you to disconnect hoses or coolant lines to pressure test the system and anybody that has tried to do that on a old plastic radiator nipple knows that thing may very well just shatter at the smallest amount of fiddling. Also, the otc kit didn’t have a pressure release valve to bleed off the pressure after testing. All 3 kits I mentioned are great choices, but in my opinion this one takes the cake. This set is definitely worth the money and comes with a lifetime warranty as well.
