Was a skeptic, but turns out great fit for c4 11 bolt pans, great threads and gasket for drain plug. Looks really nice on Tran without spending a lot of money, no issues here.

Unfortunately, it did not fix the problem, reading on line, it is almost impossible to fix the pan leaks in those old C4’s. I had tried a strongback with new gasket from Bronco Graveyard, and that did not fix it. I tried your new pan and new gasket, and that did not fix it. I have now bought all new bolts with correct shoulders yet another gasket, cleaned the mating surfaces squeaky clean on pan and transmission with Brake-Kleen………..replaced the pan and gasket, very carefully torqued all the new bolts to spec, left over night, filled the transmission with fluid, started up vehicle, got it good an warm……… have not been back over to my grandson’s to check it yet. Initial look, I think there was a drip around one of the bolts. Stay tuned. If this fixed it, may be a minor miracle. I was impressed with the quality of the new pan though.

Exactly what should have been stock. Works perfect…..just DO NOT use the provided thick rubber gasket. The pan is quality but expect to buy a felt or cork gasket or it’ll leak. That’s true with most cheap rubber gaskets. I don’t fault the pan. No problems with the drain plug. I worked it in and out with a little WD40 before using it with the crush washer provided because of a little left over coating. That wasn’t a problem. I should have upgraded sooner to one with a plug.

Arrived quickly. Perfect fit on the old C4 automatic transmission.

Pan rusted on arrival see photosAlso you can see that the Surface area where the gasket goes is not smooth and his rough my pan was slightly deformed by one mill which would most likely caused some sort of leakPaul who represent the company say these are not defects. Rust and rough surfaces again are not defects. … to is rust not a defect on a brand new part ?

Perfect fit, well made and drain plug will make any future maintenance easier and less messy.

Upon inspection of the transmission pan I recieved I noticed it had rust around where the dipstick screws in like you’ll see on other reviews here. I decided to return the pan and request a new one. The seller claims they did not get my return so they will not reimburse me or send another pan. So unless you want to try your luck and get a rusty transmission pan, and end up -32$ and without a transmission pan go somewhere else.

Slightly deeper than the original pan, felt a lot stronger and the bolt holes lined up perfectly. I would recommend this as an affordable replacement option.
