If you plan to change your Ford 6.0L fuel/oil filters you must buy sockets in this size – however, they are usually 1/2″ drive, meaning you need a larger ratchet, which is hard to get into tight places. This socket is 3/8″ drive making it much easier, and less likely that you will over torque things.
