Notice:
Please check the tailgate width (at least 51″)and tailbox height (up to 42″ at most) of your vehicle before placing order.When lock the ladder to the tailgate, if your tailgate width is less than 53 inch, you need to remove the extended 2″ steel pipe. If you don’t use the extended 2″ steel pipe, you just need to make sure the tailgate width is not less than 51 inch. Note: Drill is needed during installation.

Picture in description showed measuring to the bottom of tailgate. I thought I had some to spare, but clearly, measurement should have been done ground to top of tailgate. It would have been a nice ladder, but I had to return it for refund.

The tailgate ladder is designed well except for the mounting piece which is NOT universal as described. You must drill your own holes and they do not provide tool to do so. Sent back.

Ladder is a quality build and fairly easy to install. Instructions could always be written a bit better, but all in all it went smoothly. I’ve used it multiple times already and feel confident it will last. Great relief on getting up then out of truck bed. No more jarring hops to get down!

I installed this ladder about 5 months ago. The bolt anchors are terrible so I had to order better ones. The latter started rusting at the weld joints after the first week. Today I open my tailgate to find the 4 rivets that hold the latter latch failed and now I have to fix the latch anchor. Very unhappy with this purchase.

My husband installed this in a couple of hours, he read over the instructions, and had it installed, and it seem to be no time.. yes, you do need tools to install it because you are putting it into a metal tailgate.As a picture show, it folds up very nicely and is stored away completely…. At this time it is still new. We’ll see how it lasts.

Just installed and love it so far. Install is really easy! If you can’t install it you probably don’t need a truck. They include drill bit and driver for screws. Definitely recommend
