    First off I am really pleased with how this came out, especially at the price. It is heavy duty enough to stop sticks and flying rocks from damaging your transmission. It is not a rock crawling skid plate. I think it looks good and is better, at most things, than the paper diaper that was there before.Now what I do not like about the product. First off if you expect this to just bolt up you are going to be disappointed. I have a front skid plate on my truck and had to pull it off and cut the rear of it off, so I could slide this skid plate under it.Secondly, if you think this will do anything to protect you catalytic converters, it will not. They are out in the open and really easy to get to. Not that the paper transmission cover would of done much to stop an experienced thief but at least it covered it more. Honestly seems like they should make this wider to at least slow down thieves.Lastly the instructions are useless. Honestly if you are at all mechanical you would not even look at them anyway. All and all I spent about 2 hours putting this on but could do it easily in 45 minutes the second time. 30 if I had a lift.

    Installed on my 23 F150 FX4 XL 5.0. You need to remove the front skid plate and cut off the rear of it. Not a big deal really. Seems pretty solid and all the holes lined up. No real complaints. Takes probably 40 min to put on
