I used it as heat shield in an engine application. The material seems to get hotter than it should but idk. Overall it is quality weave and adheres properly. Not too difficult to cut with shears.

I have a small gas barbeque. I find it has a tendency to cook food a bit too slowly. I was actually in search of a welding blanket because people told me that is what they put on top of their barbeques in the winter time when it’s really cold out. I saw this product and thought I would try it. It actually fit the top of my barbeque perfectly. It was very easy to install, just peel off the back and put it where you want. The bond of the adhesion seems to be quite strong. I tested out my cooking theory with hot dogs. The product certainly blocked a lot of heat dissipating at the top of my barbeque. This tells me it does a good job of blocking the heat as advertised. Unfortunately it did not reduce cooking time, but this is not really the intended use of the product. For what it is advertised for I definitely recommend this product as a buy.

I don’t think they should call this “titanium” unless they use the term ‘titanium-colored’. It is a fabric that is very heat-resistant, and and very good product but the name is a bit misleading.The adhesive backing is very sticky and sometimes it can be a chore to get the backing paper to start peeling; once you get that corner under control. it comes off easily. Be careful aligning it with whatever you’re applying it to – it sticks really fast. If you’ve had experience putting screen protectors on electronic equipment, you know how difficult it is to keep it smooth and aligned – same thing here.The woven heat-resistant fabric tends to fray a bit at the edges, so use care and trim those hanging bits off when you are done installing it. It cut very easily so sizing it is not an issue at all.I used this stuff on an aluminum dryer vent, and that means it is “backward” from its intended use, but it prevents the vent from transferring heat to the walls where it touches. The shield worked very well, and once installed on the vent it stayed put. After three weeks, it is still exactly as it was when I installed it. I’m extremely pleased with how it turned out.

works great; good stick, easy to cut, thick, and nice satin sheen. Only reason for a missing star is the fold lines aren’t going away. It doesn’t bother me too much though, since it’s only noticeable when the light hits it a certain way. Mostly I’m just happy to feel safe; I placed it behind a wall heater that was making the wall in my camper too hot.

The product was decent for the price.Time will tell if it lasts and works as well as the name brand.Time passed, the adhesive did NOT work as advertised,, and within a few hundred miles the adhesive melted off the muffler, letting the wrap fall off.It put off enough smoke I was afraid the Jeep was on fire. No fire, and the titanium was unharmed, but it doesn’t stick as advertised.The biggest problem is the seller (apparently sent out a package that had been returned. The material had been cut, and about 1/3 of it was gone, along with uneven cuts and some small pieces in the box.

Used it on my intake heat shield and turbo shield that I made. Blocks the heat from the turbo and engine well. Adhesive is strong and I havenât seen any issues.

Noticed a large hole in the elbow of the exhaust pipe of our motorhome (Cummins 8.9L diesel) and didn’t have time to have it fixed properly before we were leaving but didn’t want to drive without doing something so figured I’d try this and it worked amazingly (the last picture is after driving about 2500 km). I used this product and another one (brown wrap – 50′ titanium exhaust heat wrap roll) but this heat shield is under the wrap and you can’t see it in the pictures. It was easy to apply and lasted the trip and looks to still be good until I can fix properly in the Spring.
