I ordered this for my husband to use in the garage. He loves it! He said that it was easy to assemble, and is very well made and sturdy. The wheels roll smoothly and the adjustable seat is easy to use. He’s in the garage a lot, and he uses this stool all the time, even at his workbench. This would make a great gift for any handyman.

I really wanted to like this mechanic stool. It checked all the boxes for what we needed it for: adjustable height range, good padded seat, metal frame and storage tray, swivel wheels, and it looked sturdy. However, while putting it together upon arrival I had to tighten up all the hardware at the hinge points. Even after tightening up all the hardware, the stool still had a lot of play. Look at the attached picture for reference – that is not a shop stool I want to sit on. We actually felt unstable sitting on this stool. I could see falling off of it due to how much play there was in the hinge points. The seat swivels and it has swivel casters – that did not help this stool feel stable. On top of the above mentioned, the stools (I ordered 2) sustained some damage in shipping. I looked for a website from the vendor and could not find one. I would have explained the issues to see if there is anything else we could do to make the stools work better. I will say there were some quality pieces used in this shop stool. The padded seat is comfortable and durable. The swivel wheels are of good quality. In the end, I sent both stools back.

Seat wobbles and under carriage is so lose that the seat will spin with you on it at an angle. It’s like riding the Zipper at the state fair.Embarrassed that even bought it!Box was beaten into submission. USPS had it wrapped in white security tape. They couldn’t even cover all the holes and tears in the box with tape. Seat post rubs in hydraulic fitting and has already torn through the black plastic coating in wires connecting to the hydraulic cylinders.Run don’t walk!

Well-built -very sturdy. Yes you need to snug/tighten some of the hardware. Very happy with it for the money,

I’m a little disappointed with this creeper. I was looking for a good heavy duty creeper and overall it seemed to be very good until I sat on it. I found that the pivot point under the seat seems to be very loose and causes the seat to tilt when sitting on it. You might want to look at a different option if you’re a bigger person.Update: I requested a replacement thinking it was a defective seat but when the new one came I had a 100LB person sit on it and it wiggled and she almost fell off. I even tried taking it apart and putting it back together but found the plastic bushings broken and the metal so thin it flexes. ended up sending it back

Rolls, lifts and drops well. The seat platform though seems to move too much. I have the seat platform all tightened down, but the plate it mounts to seems to be loose, and I can’t see how to make it tighter

This is great for anything that requires sitting and movement. I mostly use it for washing my cars. It makes it easier to detail the wheels and tires without having to sit on the ground or crouch over. It’s very strong and moves easily over smooth and semi smooth surfaces. I’s small enough to fit anywhere. It has a nice size tray on the bottom for storage. It doesn’t work too well on very rocky concrete.
