I bought a used boat with upholstery in good condition. There were some dark marks on the red vinyl that I could not remove with vinyl cleaner. I considered getting all of the vinyl upholstery redone – very expensive as I soon found out. While researching alternate cleaning products, I came across the SEM vinyl repair and was sceptical but agreed to spend the $13.00 on a can and see what happened. If it was a rip-off, I would be out of options and would have to bite the bullet and go the restoration route. The results were amazing, and I am not a dramatic person! While applying the product, I was still sceptical, but after the first coat – it looked good. After 4 coats, it looked like new vinyl, and you cant tell that this has been applied. Its plyable and doesnt modify the feel of the vinyl at all. I plan to redo all of the vinyl on the boat now with this product. The only difference in the before/after conditions is that the vinyl doesnt retain the same sheen after applying this product. They sell pre-treatment and post-treatment products that I havent tried – maybe the post-treatment product can address this.I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to save money on vinyl restoration.

For the money you spend this paint is not worth it. It’s not durable at all. Even after spending another $16 on vinyl prep I followed the instructions to a tee. At first I was impressed and optimistic about the product but, very disappointed in the results. It looks great until you sit down and notice the heavier contact spots wear very fast. If the spray paint was $8 I’d give it 4 stars, way over priced.

I use this on aircraft soundproofing blankets and it’s the only paint I trust. Our stencils on these blankets are perfect. No running or flaking off. Our customers love the look. I’ve tried others and nothing comes close. Our blankets are made of a heaven textured vinyl and as long as the stencils are applied correctly there are no problems of running or flaming off. SEM is absolutely the best paint for vinyls, carpet and plastics.

I was skeptical about a paint for vinyl, but this product worked great! Need to see about durability but so far it’s very good

This was paint for my vinyl boat covers. At first I was sent the wrong color. An easy mistake since the product numbers were similar. But then another box showed up in the mail shortly after containg the correct color. Am very pleased with the product and TCP Global’s fast response to the error. Thanks,Larry Wood

used it on my jet ski seat and its like brand new actually better. probably added 1000.00 to value because of appearance. hasn’t worn off in the water or come off of shorts when riding in water.
