Thinner metal, Had to grind a spot or two, but not uncommon with aftermarket parts.

These latches absolutely are the worst of the worst. Hardware is all wrong and the fitment is garbage. The right side latch don’t want to open, it’s so tight and when you get your fingers underneath they’re sharp, like draw blood sharp. Spend the extra funds and buy OEM Harley latches. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Why spend triple from a “Bike Shop” when you can order on-line for a fraction of the cost. These fit perfectly into the latch assembly. They were a little stiff but after turning a few times, the loosened up and are smooth. Not that I lock my bags a lot but nice to finally have the option to lock, should I feel the desire to.

Good product, the only thing that would have made it better was to supply to screws to attach the locks to the bags.
