I received my freezer door faster than anticipated. I went to install it and could figure out how to keep it closed. I called the number and an actual person answered. He indicated it was probably spring related. I went back out today and set the springs right. They told me I could video chat anytime for them to help me, but once I was told about the springs, I installed it with no problem. Door stays shut. Thanks guys, nice craftsmanship, great customer service.

Ordered this door as a replacement for my Dometic freezer door which broke right where the hinge mechanism attaches. I was initially hesitant because of the cost and the fact that it is not a factory part. However, I liked that the IFIXIFI door has a replaceable part at the hinge where my original factory door does not. I installed the door today and it fits and works perfectly! I feel that this door is a much improved design compared to the original factory door.

The door is very well made and a good value when you consider the alternatives. I broke my original Dometic door where the hinge connects to the refer. After many years of good service the refer was still working well, except for the broken flange on the door. The new IFIXIFI door is more substantial than the original and was not that hard to install with a few hand tools, which I had in my toolbox. If you are fairly handy, are careful, and watch YouTube videos, you’ll find this to be way cheaper than a new fridge for your RV.

I couldn’t find the freezer door for my Dometic rm2551 freezer. I ran across this company and all I can say is perfect and easy install with the videos on YouTube. This is a small family business and they will treat you like it also.If you call them you don’t get a run around and the owner will go out of his way to help with any questions. Exceptional replacement for the Dometic RM2554 Freezer Door. Better quality than original, easy to install, good supporting install video. Also recommend orange single door door closure – not currently on Amazon, but can find on Ebay
