If you are concerned about accidently dropping your bike (we’ve all done it), practicing your slow maneuvering, or want to protect your legs in an accident I HIGHLY SUGGEST getting these.I was in an accident where I swerved just enough to not fully T-bone the car and hit it at an angle. I was whipped into the side of the car and my saddlebag literally exploded from the impact, sending hard plastic shrapnel over the wreck site. If I had this product installed beforehand It would have saved me from that danger and protect my leg from getting crushed. As it happens the engine guard aved my leg.The fit and finish of this product was nice, I found no flaws. It was packaged very securely to prevent scratches and from the ends being bent from mishandling enroute. The different colored washers you get lets you choose what accents (or none) you want for the look of your bike.There is some cutting involved, as you will need to cut the front portion of your saddlebag supports and remove it so that this one can bolt in its place. You end up sliding the cut side left into the tube on the botto before bolting it back where the front part of the saddlebag support was originally mounted. The fit of the cut portion into the tube is very snug, so much in fact I had to rubber mallet it down in there. That provides a nice, strong connection and keeps your support from wiggling and retains the sturdiness you need from the thing.

When I got them in I installed right away. It was easy as long as you have tools handy..Probably takes about 10-20 minutes per side to install if that depending upon how good you are at installing things.Comes with everything you need or you can change it up
