It’s not exactly the same as one I was replacing on a 35 year old car, but it fit. Works just fine.

My original valve sealed tightly when you tried to blow through it. I’ve bought two of these now and they don’t actually close properly to hold the vacuum in. They do fit the booster for the Corvette properly, so I’m basically using it as a fitting and attaching a working check valve on the hose in front of it

This is a rare part as far as vacuum valves go. Came in great shape and worked well on my odd and rare 65 impala brake booster.

Only the valve showed up, in a raybestos box, but no rubber grommet.Lucky I only needed the valve, but don’t buy this if you need the rubber part.

I don’t think the missing grommet is Raybestos fault, think people are abusing the amazon return policy. Taking the grommet and returning the vavle to get their money back, thats what I think.Update: second one arrive, again no grommet. When you call the Raybestos customer support number privided by Amazon, it says the number can’t go through.Update: ordered a 3rd one, this time it came with the grommet

First one arrived and grommet was missing. Returned it and luckily the replacement did include the grommet. Works great. Taking off 1 star due to the hassle.

Update 12/12/24 – I’ve placed 8 orders and received a total of 11 check valves. NONE of them included the O-ring/grommet that’s pictured. Raybestos tech support says that it should be included. VERY frustrating! You may want to look elsewhere for this part if you need the o-ring/grommet.I’ve ordered this part 5 times now (for a total of 6 ordered) and none of them have included the 0-ring/grommet that’s pictured. I did reach out to Raybestos tech support and they confirmed that the part number does show that the o-ring/grommet SHOULD be included. Unfortunately, they directed me back to Amazon due to them fulfilling the order. VERY frustrating. 5 attempts/5 fails. Others that have ordered the part have had the same challenges as well but eventually received one with the o-ring/grommet included.
