This fuel pump is a fantastic device that has made transferring fuel into our boat a lot easier and cleaner! My overall impression of the fuel pump was that it works great, is well constructed and designed, appears durable and works as expected! I will never go back to funnels ever again!This portable device was easy to assemble and came with instructions. The device has a really cute gas pump style handle that is functional and ergonomically pleasing. The hose is long enough (34 inches) that you don’t have to bend over or hurt your back while transferring gas and is flexible to reach in multiple directions. The device is battery powered (6 AA or 2 D – batteries not included) and is efficient with multiple flow rates to extend longevity. Most of the device was made of plastic and it’s easily stored when not in use.I especially like that transferring gas is less messy with this device than when using a funnel (less waste, less spills, and less time) and that there is a built-in hose mount for easy and clean storage.Pros: Long hose, durable construction, intuitive design for nozzle (controlled flow or extended use option), use with multiple types of liquid, use for transferring liquid in and out of containers, lightweightCons: Would be improved if it had a filter on the suction end (for certain uses)In conclusion, I would recommend this 5-star fuel pump as a must-have item in your shed for all boat owners (and for all other liquid transfer projects). It was easy and fun to use. I’m so glad I got one, and you will thank yourself for treating yourself to this pump.

I’ve owned several of these that I use to move gas from 5 gallon or larger fuel cans to my mower, generators, pressure washer, and other small engine equipment.When used with gas, the internal seals usually breakdown and they begin to leak after about one year of use. They will last a little longer if used with thin oils like automatic transmission fluid.This one appears to be made as cheaply as the others I’ve purchased, consisting mainly of plastic and cheap transfer hoses. I got this one primarily because it has a nozzle in addition to the on/off toggle switch. The nozzle doesn’t come installed and it finally went together after a little bit of a struggle and using some vegetable oil to aid in sliding it completely on.It requires 6 AA batteries vice the 2 D batteries used in other models, but the transfer rate is about the same even with the increased voltage. The add says it will work with 2 D batteries, but I couldn’t even get it to turn on even with brand new D batteries.At nearly 18 dollars it almost double the price of others, but I’m hopeful it will last longer than others and the nozzle does help with the fueling.Giving it four stars for now. If it lasts longer than a year, I’ll update this review.

I got this for filling up my zero turn mower after having a shoulder replacement done and not being able to lift a 5 gal container of gas. I do wish it was more powerful / pumped faster but it still does it’s job. I have to give it credit for being a very flexible battery set up. Included is two battery holders that allow it to run off of AA batteries or skip the holders and use D batteries. I had 1 D battery and used a holder for AA batteries and it worked just fine like that. For sure a shoulder/back saver when fueling up

This pump is great for fueling my mower! Unlike my old pump, the nozzle with flow control and auto stop prevents messy spills and dangerous fuel leaks after use. It’s so much better than pouring from a gas can. It’s portable, easy to use with one button, and transfers gas quickly at 2.2 GPM. The included adapters make it versatile for different containers. Highly recommend for clean, safe fuel transfers.

Very nice transfer pump. I ordered this for my neighbor because he’s having trouble lifting his heavy gas can to fill his lawn mower. This is the perfect solution for him. I was surprised at how quickly it transfers the fuel from the gas can to the gas tank! For my little push mower, I had to be very careful not to overfill my tank because it transfers so fast. It’s powerful and very easy to use. It’s designed to be easy to used in the manner; it’s easy to turn on & off quickly to transfer small amounts if necessary. It should last a good while because it doesn’t really have to work very hard to transfer fuel.

Little pump works great have used it water and oil mixture with no problems no leaks but isn’t the most powerful not sure how it would do with thicker fluids or gas cause gas dries stuff out bad. You do have to watch for stuff cause the propeller is right at the end with no cover. Its nice that you can use AA batteries or D batteries.

It’s not bad, but there are better options too for this cheap price range. It’s the exact same thing as the one you can find in the store, but with the added pump handle. It’s also a bit worse in function than the in store ones. It fits most jugs of at least a milk gallon spout, it pumps slower than the store one, and its very cheap plastic. That being said steain on the battery life is really low, I’ve done my fish tanks several times now, and it still hasn’t shown signs of low power. It is simple to use, stick in the water, turn on the switch, and funnel water. The device itself doesn’t leak, but the pump handle does if you hold it all the way down which means you have to pump even slower. If you have to order it, check other options first.
