Product Description
Diodes permit electrical current to flow in only one direction– from the trailer to the car
Put it inline on the trailer to prevent back feed voltage from trailer battery to wet cell truck battery, it blocks any potential problems.

Diodes like this a great for electrical projects.

Working great, I used for a set of auxiliary reverse lights on the truck. They work off the factory reverse lights and a switch both. Now when I use the switch, I am not backfeeding in to the reverse light circuit.

Was adapting a remote for a winch to a dump trailer. All the info said to get two diodes to split signal. Saw these and figured to give them a try because they would make wiring easier and they did the trick. Made wiring so easy. Would recommend them for sure.

To diodes packaged in a cute little heat sink. Makes for a clean install. A pic of the product and a pen cap is included to get a sense of the size. The only thing I will knock off a star for is that the tape is not heat conductive, just your typical very high bond strength double sided tape.

I needed a way to block power from my reverse backup lights so I could power switched flashing warning lights. The Diode kept power from back flowing from this setup. Now when I flip the switch on for the flashing lights, I am not back feeding in to the reverse light circuit. The Diode is only about 1 inch X 1.25 inch and looks to be very well sealed but it has no listing for being waterproof.

Prevents back feeding in a 2 source single output circuit. I question the 2 sided tape, if it gets hot enough to be have a built in heat sink, won’t it melt the tape? My circuit is not continuous, so I don’t expect much heat build up, but something to keep in mind.

I’m using this to isolate 2 batteries from each other in an RC airplane. It works perfectly. See the picture, the negatives are common and the positives are separated by the diode: this keeps one battery from trying to charge the other and allows either battery to power the plane. Didn’t get hot with 9v during testing, and the airplane runs on 7.6V so I’m pleased.
