Didn’t work on 2002 Ford Explorer. Hopefully I can use on future repairs.

Rather pricey, but saved skinned knuckles and much frustration in disconnecting spring-retractor end of parking brake cable on TrailVoy platform. If I use it just one more time, it will be well-worth the price …. and I’m expecting to use it again next year to replace the entire Ebrake cables.

I tried for 2 days to get the spring off my Chevy express 3500. I watched this video, ordered the pliers and when they came in they performed as stated. I was done in minutes ! Thank you. A perfect tool for the job.
Otis –
This tool works as described and as it was intended. I wish I had it when I did the brakes on my Buick. It would have made the job soooo much easier.
Customer –
Needs to be reverse engineered. No point in locking pliers if they lock when the parking brake cable spring is already at it’s longest point. Needs to compress the spring away from the cable to attach the parking brake assessment then lock. Heavy, overpriced, loose points, very poorly manufactured

great price
Customer –
I had a heavy duty emergency brake cable with a very large spring for a 1 ton dump truck and this compressor worked perfect thank you

Save yourself the frustration of trying to remove the parking brake spring without this tool. It will take a very long time to do so. This OTC grip clamp design will make very quick work of it. Expensive but worth having in your tool box. High recommended.

Made a difficult repair on a 2015 Chevy 2500HD parking brake system replacement and rebuild much easier

Product was ok but for my application they didn’t fit in the space to use them.
