i ordered this as a backup shifter for my nv4500 the original one that came with my transmission when i purchased it was a cheapy aftermarket that the spring plate screws stripped out allowing the shifter to fall out this seems to made a lot better and tighter well see how it holds up to more abuse with time will update if it has the same problems as mine.

It states that this would fit a GM nv4500 vehicle entered but it will not, it would be shorter without the bend in the shifter. We had already tried to install before realizing it and were unable to return it and can’t find correct part. Still rating 4 for quality and delivery, just didn’t match Amazon’s garage vehicle.

I got this as a replacement shifter to put on my truck when the old one had gone bad. Seems to be holding up fine, but I will update as I drive more if it gets worse. Shipping was fast and package arrived undamaged. Would order again if needed.

Bolted up fine. Quality was poor. Lasted just long enough to not be able to return it. Not satisfied at all. Would like a refund if possible. Purchased in April of 2024. Lasted maybe 43 days. Thanks.
1999 dodge 2500 manual swap –
This product feels extremely cheap when installed got stuck in first gear with a fresh transmission. Had a hard time going to third original shifter tower worked way better and shifted Through all the gears as it should. I would Just buy a new one from Dodge.
