Electric choke sticks “on” at random occasions when the engine is hot. The choke does not always return to “off” when it should, particularly coming off of full throttle.Majorly inconvenient to drive. I zip tied the choke flap open until I get a chance to see if the original unit will fit this because it worked correctly.As is, the unit I received would be useless on an automatic or to someone without some mechanical knowhow.Edited: After converting to a manual choke, adjusting the float, and installing the stock idle jet, she runs great.This is NOT correct out of the box for a 1984 Datsun/Nissan 720 4×4. But it can be made to work for cheap. Pick your poison.
