I looked locally for this steering part but none were to be found. If ordered, it would have been much more than what I paid for this from Amazon. The only thing that I was not impressed with was that it is bare steel. No paint or primer. The lack of paint is no big deal but it will rust over time but I figure the drag link will outlast the rest of the machine so I did not paint it. Well worth the money.

I would have given it a perfect rating, but it came as raw metal, andafter I installed it, it started to get surface rust, so I took it back offand put a couple coats of paint on it, other than that, perfect fitand function, it will now outlast the rest of old beater mower 🙂

As the other reviews stated, it did come unpainted, so what, it would take forever to rust, but a fast coat of red, and it was on and running. It came as expected, and fit right on, easy to install, put a couple of drops of oil in the ball pivot area, just me. checked the front axle support bolts, put the link on and just finished cutting the grass and it handled great, not much more to say.

The steering Draglink on my rider was severly worn and had tremdous amounts of play in the steering system. I ordered this and had it changed out in about 10 minutes with hand tools. Elimnated all the play I had and made My riding mower usable again Thankyou

It was the perfect fit no paint no big deal it can be painted. It will last another 20 years before needing to be replace again due to rust.
