No weights as shown. Stock weights are hardened and dont wear, so I didnt want to pay for parts to throw away. The springs look and feel just like my OE ones.

Exactly what I needed, I’ve had a popping through the carbs on my 74 MGB for several weeks, isolating it was driving me nuts. It was eventually suggested I check the distributor advance springs, that did the trick. The shipping on these were super fast and I was out driving on the Saturday after I ordered them.

Contents recieved in original Mr Gasket packaging, but what i got wasnt matching whats in the advertised picture. What i got were two silver springs, two grey springs that were supposed to be gold, one black spring and one spring thats a different style that didnt belong, along with the bushing. Buy Elsewhere

This kit works for the GM points type distributor with the advance springs above the breaker plate. Comes with a good selection of springs to custom tailor the mechanical advance, and a new breaker plate stop bushing made of bronze. Nice kit. Would be even better if the kit came with nomenclature of what the springs color relates to in tension.
