I’ll be the first to say that I LOVE new gadgets for my truck and this really caught my eye. I was a little skeptical at first, but after seeing that the temperature reads very accurately and the cap fits perfectly, I am 100% sold on the Mr. Gasket ThermoCap!!! It’s anodized finish looks great too!

With some minor bending of the 2 lips, fitted perfectly on my ’77 corvette radiatorTemp is accurate (checked it with a laserthermometer)

I do like it, but it did not fit right out of the box. I had to bend the thread tabs out, and replace the gasket with the thinner factory gasket to get it to go on and seal.***UPDATE*** 11.20.2020 Taken out of service sometime around July 2020. The upper gasket that seats on the top of the radiator neck started to look shredded, and was beginning to come apart. It didn’t fit right from the beginning, and lasted only about 3yrs whereas I have used still functional factory caps that were 40+ years old. It was a cheap and easy way to add a temp gauge under the hood, but I will not buy again. I added a pair of Auto Meter gauges to the firewall for temp and oil pressure.

Works great. Will buy for my other classic Mustang

Put it on a 94 mustang 5.0L added a nice look to the red hoses I have on engine

Good idea failure as a product. Doesn’t fit like I hear over and over about this Temp. Cap.so cheaply made even if it did fit I think it would get broken in a few months. Not even sending it back. Why waste more time, money and energy on it. Chucked it.

As the headline says, it simply does not fit as advertised/amazon’s check fit indicates. Tried to put it on a 2004 Ram 2500 5.7L Hemi, would not engage radiator cap tabs. Neat idea, but I expected a Mr. Gasket product to at least fit properly.

Functional and looks good.
