It is made strong and spreads the weight of the kickstand out to prevent the bike from falling. My only thought to improve would be to add rubber strips to the bottom to prevent it from sliding. Other than that should last a long time and I will throw in my saddle bag in case I need it on the road.

Based on the pictures I thought this might fit my 2020 Suzuki DL 650’s side stand, however, it did not. I think that with a little modification it might work, but just be aware that this is an exact fit for the make and model of motorcycle that is listed in the description. I will say that this is no fault of the product that I ordered the wrong model, and to it’s credit it seems to be a really well made side stand support pad. It includes solid aluminum construction to save weight and has a clamshell design to clamp down from the bottom and the top of the OEM stand. These really are a must for adventure bikes because you will inevitably find yourself parking on soft dirt and the OEM stands just don’t provide enough surface area to keep the bike from sinking in, making it exceedingly difficult to upright again when you are ready to mount up and take off. With the right fitment to the bike, I think it would be an exceptional product.

Even though I torque the heck out of it, I did not use Loctite and regrettably so. Within two hours it was gone. Lesson learned.

This fit my 2023 Moto Guzzi V85TT Adventure like a glove. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and haven’t noticed it coming loose as others have mentioned.
