Was very easy to install, and looks much better than the faded color I had on the bike. Fits perfectly, and looks great with the chrome on the bike.

These side covers are a perfect fit for my bike. I wasn’t sure I would like these since they are made of plastic (the factory covers for this motorcycle are metal, but not chrome.) The plastic is thick enough that it should be durable. My only concern is how heat resistant they are since the battery cover side is right next to the exhaust. I will update this review if I see any problems arise.

Head to eBay and get the original parts in ‘like new’ condition, these are cheap plastic and the right side panel isn’t formed right. I will be using the original parts and paint them myself. 2001 vstar1100

The battery cover secure point is drilled out at the wrong location, you cant secure this on a yamaha vstar 1100 custom.
