I tried everything but the controller and now my problems are over. This controller installed just as the old original one did and she fired right up on propane and still works on electric.

This upgrade supersedes the original black box circuit board. The drawings to connect the wiring is specific and very easy to follow. It even provides a SEQUENCE to follow so that everything goes on-line and allows your current upper control board above the freezer door, to accept the new upgrade lower control board, and works more efficiently. This P-711 also eliminates “ground bounce” due to the improved thermocouple pig tail that normally attaches to the chassis. The instructions show how to reattach this vital ground wire, and you can trust the instructions, as they are reliable. My Dometic DM2611 (1994) is working now like a champ, and cools better, and freezes things better as a result of being used to its full capacity, and this is on the default medium setting for temp control. Excellent upgrade. Trouble free, easy to install. My gas system is functioning better as well. Excellent performance and for the money, you can’t beat it!

This panel board will not fit a Dometic refrigerator with PN RM2652. Wrong pin and this panel requires two thermocouples.

Model and product description is identical to the American made dinosaur electronic board, however this one is from china. The original board I was replacing worked on propane but not electricity. After installing the new board nothing worked. On the upside return was easy.

Easy installation

Product was easy to install but it did not solve the issue I am having. I may have to purchase something else for a resolution. There is nothing wrong with the product itself.

Dometic not working. Ordered new circuit board, fridge not working , then propane gas not working, bought secondary fridge to keep wife semi happy. Worked on dometic off and on…Finally swapped out with old circuit board plus heaters & walla works. New circuit board defective, it will not light propane. Too late to return?!? I’m out $78 bucks on bad board.

The instructions were excellent. I installed it and had it working in 10 minutes.

The instructions were easy to understand, the terminals were clearly marked so no mistake in making the connections.

It did not resurrect my dead fridge and I had to alter the mounting holes to make it fit, so I was not able to return it. The board was compatible for my fridge. The documentation was clear on the wiring for my model frig so I have no doubts that it was wired correctly. There must be something more wrong with my frig than the control board.Bottom line: I gave this 3 stars just because this board didn’t fix my frig. Not because I think the board is defective or any other reason. This was the ONLY board ANYWHERE for my Ancient frig and it just proved to me that my 25 year old frig is completely dead and needs to be replaced.

Have a 2003 Chinook RV that I really like. Its refrigerator stopped keeping temperature control. Was successful in finding the wired temperature sensor to replace in the refrigerator, but that didn’t fix the issue. Because I didn’t want to pay thousand dollars or more to replace the refrigerator , or pay hundreds to get an RV shop to try to fix it, I bought this electronic control board to try DIY. Was not difficult to replace. Just made sure to take some screen shots of the old boards wiring so that the wiring would be consistent on the new board. Was happy that the new board’s connection points and the screw placements were all consistent, and the documentation layer out the expected wiring. Been almost a year since the replacement and working well.
