Worked great for a short trips for testing purpose. Left the country for a month activated as should thought I found a solution to the battery dieing from letting the vehicle sit for long periods of time. Now after driving it for an hour the box is making an screaming sound and will not turn off. Product is past the point of return.

My lexus has had a parasitic battery drain problem since i bought the car car 1 1/2 years ago, wish i knew before i bought the car , if the car is driven everyday no problem, if the car sits for more than 2 days battery is not dead but not enough power to start the car . I watched many youtube videos trying to find a solution , one day i looked on google and found this battery cut off, on amazon found the top rated devices and went with the matell, i installed it myself, easy, bingo, problem solved, i can leave the car off for any amount of time, click the matell remote, power up the car and everything work perfectly, i only have to reset the cars clock .

It would not work the way it comes configured for my Diesel pick up, as the battery is raised in middle between terminals , if you look at picture I merely flipped the terminals so it would raise the box, this allowed me to use, since Amazon does not allow direct contact with sellers ( very dumb) I hired out n my own, bought two but only installed one, works as advertised, great so you don’t have to disconnect battery’s to work on vehicle

I have had issues with battery draining on very cold days on my Expedition for a while now and 2 auto shops cannot find problem they kept blaming a bad battery core. I saw this Remote Battery Disconnect and I figured why not give it a try. I am so happy that this works. I turn off my car, then turn off the battery, next time I use my Expedition I turn on battery and then open door lock and then car starts on first try. This has saved me from have to jump start my car every morning. I very happy with it. Also, was easy to install.

I have a crappy old Chrysler, battery bleeding-out within a day’s time. This thing makes it so I don’t need to jump-start the car practically every other day.

This is an excellent device. My mechanic couldn’t fix the electrical problem with my Ford E250 cargo van. The electrical problem would drain my battery overnight. With this device, I can remotely disconnect my car’s electrical system from the negative side of the battery and remotely reconnect and start the vehicle instantly. What a great product!
