So far so good, looks great and fits my 97 GMC C1500. For my truck, the cargo lamp only comes on when i turn my dome light on inside the cab. But i think that’s normal.

Great looking light fit perfect plunged matched had rubber backing and foam washer to seal the light to the truck cab and rubber washers for the new mounting screws were included great buy truck is a 97 gmc sierra ext cab 2 door 5.7 vortec

This is the second light I purchased for this truck. The first one was a different company and more expensive and their gasket sucked so the light only worked for a short while. This fit my 1994 WT1500 truck. Connector is female on the light so that worked. I used the gasket from my old light to form a workable seal against the truck cab. I thought seriously about making a gasket out of the foam inside the box, may yet do that. It is bright enough to suit me and the red brake lights are a big improvement over the original light.
