The Ecsta AST combines exotic appearance, modern tread design and technology in one low-profile package, while delivering all-season, high performance grip and handling to the entry-level tuner enthusiast. An advanced belt package design is constructed using high-tensile steel belt and jointless nylon cap ply to reinforce the tread area, assuring high speed stability, while an ultra-hard bead filler maximizes lateral grip and high speed durability. The AST’s shoulder blocks feature a sharp leading edge and a rounded trailing edge to prevent heel and toe wear. The leading edge increases wet and snow traction by cutting through ice and water film. A rim protector in the lower sidewall safeguards wheel against scratches and abrasions.

Yes…this “automobile tire” is working very well so far as my rear (traction) tire on my Spyder. After researching a few others who used this tire for this function, I decided to give it a shot. So far, this has proven to be an excellent tire and appears to be working well on my Spyder…the traction has been good, it seems to hold well in the turns, and we will see if we can get more miles on this one before a change is required. This is not as soft a tire as the original, which means it may not hold to the payment as well on this lighter vehicle; however, it should mean it will last longer before requiring a change. Hopefully, this tire will provide the best of most (if not all) worlds.

Exceptional casing strength, I mounted this on my CanAm RT. Wear life is great and channels water away well for safety on wet roads. This is my second .

Hard to find tires that’ll last me a year, value of a used tire but these are new. No problems in rain with low tread. Pro tip Amazon is paired with Mavis Discount Tire, not only did they put the wheel covers on wrong they underfiled my tires. They knew the tires were not stock size but used the psi listed on my door not the psi on the tires. Shoutout to Mavis Discount Tire for the reason I don’t take my car to any mechanic besides an inspection sticker. Will be buying only these tires from now on and going to a private mechanic for mount and balancing. The tread pattern looks amazing too.

Great tire at a good price. I got this tire for my Can-Am Spyder and it fits perfect. Has great tread and handles well on the highway and through some of the twistys that I’ve been through
