Las he montado en un Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line de 177cv 4×4 en las ruedas delanteras.El manual de usuario del coche dice que no se pueden montar cadenas clásicas en vehiculos equipados con neumáticos 235/50 r18 precisamente las ruedas que lleva mi coche.Pues yo las he montado en mi casa (sin nieve) y me he dado una vuelta de unos 300 metros por una pista de tierra. El coche va perfecto, no tocan en ningún sitio y todo va perfectamente. Decir que mi coche tiene ESP, ABS es 4×4 y tiene toda la electrónica inimaginable y todo va bien y no sale ninguna alarma ni nada raro. No rozan el el amortiguador y aún queda bastante espacio de seguridad.Quien quiera unas cadenas robustas y fiables, y sobretodo faciles de poner y de sacar estas son sus cadenas !!!!recomiendo comprarlas y hacer pruebas de montaje en seco, no esperar a probarlas el dia de la nieve.Estoy seguro que con nieve o hielo tienen de ser espectaculares, nada comparado con las mierdecillas de cadenas de tela que se quedan hechas jirones a la que te descuides.Además, aunque parezcan más fáciles de poner, muchas veces la goma de las cadenas de tela es tan dura que dificultan mucho ponerlas o quitarlas. Estas de la casa Thule, las pone sin singun problema incluso la persona más débil. Con los coches que he tenido siempre he utilizado cadenas de esta marca y me han dado un resultado excelente. Son fáciles de instalar y resistentes.

Faciles de poner, no tan automaticas como dice porque al final te tienes que parar al poco tiempo para ajustar, pero muy fiables

On arrival the two chains were hopelessly tangled together and completely unusable. Just what you’d want to deal with when stuck in the snow. Would have expected better for a $300+ set of “pro” chains.
