It works well on Chevy and BMW rod bolts – clears the rods, and performs equally as well as the more expensive competitor model with the thumb hole. Reads in half thousandths (0.0005″) and has a very repeatable dial.

Not the best tool for the job. With adding another spring it had enough pressure and worked well

Spring in gage too weak to support its weight. Jehs said my be defective. I returned it a couple weeks ago and no replacement and no refund. I am just out the money! Not happy!!!

Mine fell apart shortly after using it for the 1st time. The spring that holds the gauge on the bolt is too weak not allow an accurate reading. Just purchased an ARP gauge to see if it’s any better!
