The cushion is the perfect thickness for comfort without being too bulky or reducing clearance in tight spaces too much. Fabric is durable but a bit rough on the elbows if you’re laying prone. I was expecting pleather/pvc so it would be easier to wipe clean and repel liquids but it is woven polyester. Oil doesn’t exactly absorb into it but it stays in it since you can’t wipe it off. Overall, great product for the price, very comfy, easy to transport and store. Suits my needs as a mechanic very well.

I have owned this pad for a couple of years and use it multiple times every week. In the house, when working on the floor, painting low or anything on my knees. Besides car repair, handy in the yard when weeding, washing the bottom of my boat on the trailer, planting the garden. It’s almost indestructible too. Bought a a couple for friends and handy to those with knee replacements, FYI
