Important Notice About “Open Flow” Air Chucks
Open flow air chucks allow air to flow freely through the chuck, even when not engaged to the tire valve stem. If your air compressor has an air tank, open flow air chucks can NOT be connected directly to the end of the airline without first attaching to an inline tire inflator gauge. If you connect an open flow chuck directly to the end of airline without an inline tire inflator gauge, air will flow straight out and empty your compressor’s air tank. This air chuck must first connect to a compatible tire inflation tool that supports 1/4″ NPT threaded attachments, such as our FlowPro Tire Inflator Gauge series or similar tools that can open and close air flow from compressor.
The thread specification of this chuck is female 1/4 inch NPT.

These function just fine except that they can be fiddly to attach to or remove from the valve. If you’re angled just a hair, they’ll jam going on or off. Not a huge deal, you just have to develop a bit of technique. But I knocked off a star because of that.Once attached they seal to the valve perfectly, and stay put with no leaks until you press the release. Just like they’re supposed to. No complaints so far about the quality, they seem solidly built.These are the only air chucks that I’ve found that allow me to air up the spoked rear wheel of a Harley Highway King. Nothing else I’ve tried is able to get past the gauntlet of spokes, brake disc and drive pulley to reach the valve. Not even the official Harley inflator, which claims to enable access to “hard-to-reach motorcycle valve stems”, will work on my bike. So I’m very grateful to JACO for these chucks.I’d be happier if they sold them in a pack of 1. Why was I forced to buy two of them? The extra one is sitting in a drawer where it will probably remain for years. Well at least I have a spare. Four stars for the product, one star for “value for the money”.These are free flowing chucks – no internal valve. If you connect directly to an air hose, air will noisily rush out. Many reviewers have complained about that (can’t they read?), consider your application before purchasing.

Been buying and trying tire chucks for years. Want something that’s easy to put on the valve, seals well, stays on, and doesn’t require a contortionist to make work. My search is over – these are great. Slip on easily, stay on until you push the button to remove, don’t leak. Score!!

I bought this to use on my motorcycle which has limited space for hands and connectors. It worked better than I was expecting. Very easy to use, no leaks, easy to remove – exactly what I was looking for.I forgot that in my case I needed an adapter to convert the “hose” end to a 1/4″ M-NPT, but I actually had one on hand. I would’ve liked to only buy one at half the price, but overall I’m satisfied.

I’ve tried a few air chucks and always had issues with leaking. I tried this today and it worked perfect. Locked into the valve stem, no leaking, and unlocked easily. My sanity is restored!

These things really lock on and hold without air leaks when put on square. Easy release without air loss when you are done setting your air pressure.Highly recomended for tight spaces, like behinde motorcycle front rotors!!

I’ve tried so many air chucks in the past and they’ve all had their problems. Even the self latching types seem to have at least minor leakage. It’s something I’ve just come to terms with. This one does not leak at all, at least so far anyways. It seems to be very good quality, and super easy to use. The 90° angle also makes it easy to get into hard to reach areas. So happy with this purchase!!
