This is the ball stud that threads into the side of the engine block and supports the one end of the Clutch Z-bar. These are often worn out or go missing when rebuilding the engine. If you are converting your car to a manual trans this part is also a must to support the end of the z-bar. This is a hardened steel part – with a ball end so that Clutch Z-bar can move on the end. slao comes with the grease seal so the grease stays in the end of the shaft of the z-bar and does not end up all over your engine and fresh restoration.
