very stiff brakets keep the piston at a wierd angle hope they don’t break !

Took about 5 minutes at -12C to slap these in. Followed instructions and no issues.

Easy to install still not positive I installed the brackets on the hood correctly but it works.

Easy install but the gas struts will not collapse. after install tried to close my hood, and it was bending my fenderwell and struts would not collapse . Pulled off struts and they are frozen solid in the open position.

Ok so I read in the reviews there are some rusting issues with the hardware, so I had some rustoleum clear coat paint I tagged them with the night before installing. Hopefully this will prevent any future rusting, will update in the case of rust or other issues.Also read that some of them come stuck in the open position, this appeared to be the case with mine, so before installing I took a rubber mallet and hammered them until they started moving. Which is basically what is recommended in the instructions with rocking your hood after install(I just didn’t feel comfortable potentially warping the hood).After taking these precautions, they installed great and work perfectly. See photos opened and closed. Didn’t have any issues closing the hood, or it falling prematurely as one other mentioned.Overall great product and would recommend. As mentioned, will update in case of rusting of other issues 👍

Definitely worth the money fits my 2025 Chevy Colorado and makes it so much nicer to open the hood without having to use the hook, would definitely recommend this and would buy again, the instructions were simple and easy to read and understand on how to install them
