Got it just in time for summer, where suction cup performance is sketchy at best. I don’t like pillar mount because I like to keep the handle. The enclosed pod mount looks good, but if you ever have to remove your device it adds frustration. These are perfect and long overdue. Probably WAY sturdier than they need to be, but thats okay. Easy to install and looks great. Buy once, cry once. Well worth the cost.

Way better than the suction cup holder that comes with the Edge Insight CTS3. This is the mount it SHOULD come with.

Did I have to have this? NO. Was I tired of the suction cup mount falling off the windshield weekly? YES. Easy installation and it looks good.The included Allen Wrench would not make a complete turn as the elbow end would not clear the windshield, so it took longer to tighten the included Allen bolts than it should have, frustrating but not a major issue. It was cold outside and I could not find the correct hex socket in my tool box and was happy to have had the wrench as part of the kit.It was expensive, but if you wait, I would think you can get it cheaper in about 6-12 months as us early adopters pay the price to Edge for their development and tooling/mold costs for their new product line.I will say I would do it again and wish this had been an option 2 years ago. Buy and enjoy!

The design of the bracket is a perfect fit for my 2006 F350 Dually. Made of metal and quality machined, it’s a great product.A little advice: the instructions said I would need a 10mm to remove the old bolts, but mine were 8mm. While installing the provided screws the bracket was difficult to tighten due to the windshield being in the way, plan on turning it about the allen wrench about a half turn and then repositioning… but with a little patience it was an easy and a very secure install, very happy with this product!

On time as advertised and the product did fit
