These jumper cables are exactly what I was looking for — long, strong, and safe to use. The 16-foot length makes it super easy to connect between vehicles without having to awkwardly reposition anything, and they stay tangle-free, which is a huge bonus. The reverse polarity protection is a standout feature — it gives me peace of mind knowing that if the cables are connected incorrectly, the red LED and audible alarm will alert me before anything goes wrong. When connected correctly, the green light confirms it’s good to go — simple and smart. The clamps are solid and grip firmly, even on older battery terminals. They feel heavy-duty and well-made, with thick rubber insulation to keep things safe. Plus, the cables themselves remain flexible even in cold weather, which is great for winter emergencies.I also appreciate the little extras like the gloves and sturdy vinyl coating that resists rust and wear. This is definitely a brand I’ll trust going forward — well-designed and built to last. Highly recommend for anyone who wants dependable jumper cables on hand!

These jumper cables feel solid right out of the bag. The clamps grip tightly and lock onto battery terminals without slipping. I liked how the rubber insulation kept my hands clear during use. The 16-foot length reached easily across front-to-front or side-by-side setups without tangling. The polarity protection system adds peace of mind. Green light means you’re good to go, while red light and alarm warn if the clamps are reversed. The wires stayed flexible even in freezing temps and passed a cold garage test. Vinyl coating held up well against scuffs and moisture. Overall, it’s a reliable pick for safe, cold-weather boosts.

You be the judge. Unfortunately, I got a chance to use these jumper cables today. I connected the live battery first following the display on the black indicator box on the cables. Next, I connected the positive and negative on the discharged/dead battery. The indicator box showed a green light next to OK. After starting the live car, I waited about 6 or 7 minutes before attempting to start the disabled vehicle. The dashboard did not light up. Pressing the start button did not start the car.At the time, I didn’t know if the jumper cables didn’t work or the discharged battery was too far gone (too dead) to be jumped. Hours later my neighbor started the once dead car with a portable jumper with no problem and no hesitation from the car. I don’t think I would depend on the Powerbest jumper cables in an urgent situation.

Let me just say these are a solid medium duty set of jumper cables that came with a pair of cotton gloves. I needed a third pair for a new younger driver in our family. They will work great, with a small modification. The cables also included a nifty little inline current monitor that prevents one from making the wrong connection. They’re made from heavy duty wire, thick handles, and nicely put together. However, my only reason for the missing star is the clamp handles aren’t insulated. I can fix that with a bit of tubing. Either way, for the price they are offered at, you can’t go wrong.

This set of 16-foot, 6-gauge jumper cables hits all the right marks: sturdy construction, quality materials, and a well-thought-out design. The Smart-6 reverse polarity protection is an excellent safety feature—especially helpful if you’re jump-starting under pressure or low visibility. The LED indicator and built-in alarm make setup more foolproof than traditional cables. It’s a smart item to keep in your trunk, especially if you’re like me and occasionally forget to charge your portable jump starter. The clamps grip firmly, the insulated rubber coating offers peace of mind, and the vinyl finish resists corrosion. It’s compact enough to stash neatly, but powerful enough to deliver when needed.Solid performance at a fair price. Definitely worth the 5 stars for functionality—but I’m docking one for the uninsulated clamp handles, which could use an upgrade.

The quality of this cable is above and beyond. Well built with proper shielding and the added value of a built-in sensor that will alert you if you don’t have a proper connection! The length is more than sufficient and the functionality of the grip handles is very good. Jumper cables are not complicated to use in general but, again, the added touch of indicators and instruction tags attached to it is a nice touch. Finally, I have to thank the manufacturer for the added detail of including fabric gloves in this kit! It shows thoughtfulness in how consumers faced with emergency situations are not usually dressed for mechanical work! ; ) It’s great that you can work on scruffy and greasy motors with something to keep your hands clean. Great job!!!

These feel really well-made. I’m replacing my old pair that got from a local big box store, and these feel much better. The alligator clips look and feel heavy duty. The cable is thick too, and the length you get is great. They are easy enough to store, but they don’t include a case or anything to put them, so that’s unfortunate. But I have a spot under my seat for them where they will be safe until I need them, so I can see the appeal of having them be a little cheaper for people who don’t need a case. They work fine and are easy enough to install on the battery. The value for the price is also great. Like I said, these feel really solid. It’s also nice to have something which protects me from accidentally hooking the batteries up backwards.
