I, like all other dads, have been sorted into my power tool house. I naturally chose yellow, since I am apparently house dewalt.Good set, great to have on hand if you are doing something like valve stem seals.

The black metal ones feel strong enough not to bend under pressure, but the smaller silver picks appear a bit malleable. The plastic handles feel good and solid. I especially like the separator pliers and the 10 inch pry. The light/magnet is a nice touch. The magnet is strong enough to support its own weight and to pick up my stapler. The light may be turned on by rotating the magnet tip. The. set comes in a nice roll up pouch that appears durable except for the stretch bands used to hold it. These tools will do nicely for the DIY’er, but they are not professional grade . I think they represent a decent value though at ~$27 at present.*PRECISE RATING: 4RECOMMENDATION: I can recommend these if you do any auto body or interior work yourself. This is a nice “light duty” tool set that provides plenty of the tools that you are always looking for when trying to complete a job. I love the clip puller as it worked great to pull the fuel filter off my riding lawn mower line! It’s always so difficult to get the hose removed from the filter after a year of use and the clip puller pliers were the perfect tool to get the job done. These are not heavy duty tools though, they would not last under heavy/daily use but are perfect for us garage mechanic’s that just need a tool every once in a while. I really like the included case that rolls up and can easily be placed in a drawer in the garage until needed, 5 Stars!

Ihave soem heavy and expensive tools like this for work, where they’re indispensible.I’ve brought some of the pieces home to work on something, and managed to misplace an expensive clamp puller. I did what I should have done and got this light duty GTI set for home so I don’t lose work tools again.It has nearly everything needed for pulling panels, fender clips, aligning holes when reassembling, and a magnetic retrieval tool when dropping screws behind or under a panel. It’s close to complete. For the retial price it’s a no-brainer for anyone doing occasional vehicle interior work. When you need one of those tools you need it. Prying with a knife or screwdriver is asking for a problem.
