Used this to seal a freshly refurbed and powdercoated set of wheels. Managed to seal all 4 18″ wheels and still have enough left to do another 1 or 2.Application is very easy and it leaves a great finish. The wheels are now extremely easy to clean, a rinse with the hose gets most of the dirt off and a quick wipe with normal car shampoo leaves them gleaming. It may seem expensive for a wheels sealant, but it is certainly worth the money.

High tech product, relatively easy to apply. Keep in mind, you have to prepare your mags correctly, meaning a very thorough cleaning and the use of Panel Wipe from Gtechniq to insure optimal bonding.

The 30 ml bottle is just enough for two sets of 4 wheels. There are lots of videos out there explaining how to clean your wheels, and then apply the product. If you do a good job cleaning, the product will last the two years. I didn’t have the GTechniq (PW) Panel Wipe that GTechniq recommends, so I washed the wheels with dish soap, dried them, and then wiped them down with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Application was easy due to it’s watery consistency. I did it on a cool spring day, so I was able to apply the thin coat to the whole face of a wheel, before having to wipe it off with my micro fiber cloth. The box says wipe it off after 30 seconds, but 4 minutes was still okay on this cool day.

While the entire process is a little time consuming, it is easy to apply and remove. I used isopropyl alcohol to decontaminate the wheel before applying the ceramic coating. It’s only been about a month since I applied it to my satin finish wheels but it has held up fantastic so far, even with my high brake dust pads. Water beads up nicely and contaminants come off easily. I’ll be using this product again in the future.

Great Product bought my first bottle two years ago it does what it says on the box. The wheel armour made it so easy to keep my alloys easy to maintain, break dust and dirt easily rinsed off leaving the alloys looking like new. I’ve now purchased a second bottle which should keep my alloys looking like new for another couple of years. It’s a little on the expensive side for the amount in a bottle but its well worth it.

Purchased this product about a year ago. The car I put it on gets driven occasionally. It does get subjected to dirt and grime, but only sparingly. The product was easy to apply. It’s clear, so I did have some difficulty seeing where it was already applied. I let the wheels sit as described in the instructions and put them back on the car. After application, they shed brake dust pretty well, and made washing off the wheels easier (typically only needing a quick wash/rinse to do it). After a year, they are still shedding brake dust, but I do sense they are needing to be washed a little more thoroughly. Still easier to clean than originally. The product seems to do what it says!

This do it yourself ceramic coat works great on wheels and calipers. Gives it a long lasting protection that is easy to clean and maintain. I highly recommend this product.

So I bought this as a sort of wheel protection. It worked better than what I was expecting out of it. I’ve pressure-washed my wheels today after this stuff has been on the wheel for about 4 days (only requires 12 hours to cure). The water just instantly beads, and falls right off the wheel. It’s fantastic. Very easy to keep the wheels clean. When wheels run in excess of $2,000, you want to take the best care of them. This product does that

Used panel wipe prior to coating wheels. Work quickly in a dry environment. I applied 2 full coats. Nothing sticks to these wheels now. When the car is sitting, I find fine dust at the bottom of the barrels proving it works. The new car with uncoated wheels is a dirt magnet. Constant maintenance keeping those clean so I’ll be applying to those as well.

I’ve actually purchased C5 three times because I like it so much. First, for my previous vehicle and again for a new car for summer and winter tire/wheel setups. A large bottle will easily coat the face and inner barrel of a set of 22” wheels, with enough left over to coat some polished exhaust tips, and fancy brake calipers. It goes on and wipes on super easy, unlike some other coatings I’ve used, so it’s great if you’ve never used a coating before.C5 is nice because it doesn’t shine matte areas of painted wheels, but gives just a little bit of gloss to the shiny parts. But let’s be real, the main reason you buy this is for protection and ease of cleaning. C5 excels at keeping wheels clean and makes car washes so much easier… because cleaning wheels sucks. After coating, not only do wheels stay clean much longer, they’re almost completely clean with no scrubbing during a foam cannon and pressure wash. It was going strong after 2 1/2 years when I traded my previous car, through salty winter roads and weekly maintenance washes the rest of the time, so I’ve been happy with its durability. C5 is my favorite wheel ceramic, and it pairs great with CSL/EXO if you’d like to do the rest of the paint on the car as well.
