Even though I did install these lights, I need to mention that you should have some knowledge of how to remove plastic panels from the front doors. Why? Because you’ll need to run the wires from the front to the rear using the space under the plastic pieces that run along the door. Or else it’ll just look ugly and the wires could get in the way. Also, mounting and placement is not black and white. Just because they provide 3M tape on the back of them and they provide zip ties, doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be able to install these lights exactly where you need them. Every vehicle is different. The only area where I could 100% take advantage of the 3M sticky tape was on the front passenger area of my Ram 1500 truck. The rear lights are just sitting on the carpet, underneath the seats because I couldn’t stick them anywhere nor utilize the zip ties to mount. The front driver side lights I managed to install (half-ass-ly) to where overall, the product can be used. Lastly, the wires coming from the car lighter input, are rather messy. The only way I can hide the wires to clean it up would be if I drilled holes in my center console and other areas which honestly, I will not do. I’ve been there and done that on older vehicles and although did a decent job….will not succumb to doing that again with this truck. Overall, the lights look cool and give the feel of a concert in your car. The sound activated lights aren’t super accurate and my solution was to turn the sensitivity all the way down. This is as close to the lights “moving to the music” as I’ll get. It is what it is. An inexpensive product that gives your nighttime driving experience a little concert life.

I just had one installed and it looked amazing! Whats the downside is that i placed one too close to the passenger’s seat and it got cut, even tho i tried rewiring it correctly. It was still not working.

Had these in my first ever lease car I loved it. It was super cool especially at night when I was driving around I always had them on. I no longer have them. They did kind of run out quickly within a year, but they were definitely really awesome conversation piece.

Love it- I just have to reinstall it using screws and braces- the adhesive can’t survive summer heat. Love that it has an app- can’t lose that BUT I had forgot and was looking for a matching remote 😏 after week I noticed the app and everything is great.
