Could NOT get my tube to line up because of the two smaller connections inside the metal tube moving when I bent the tube to install. Got this replacement and it went right in. Hated to spend the money but if you’re doing this job you’ll know how much of a PITA it is and anything to make it easier is worth it.

  2. Imported from AmazonSource context: Don't think about or take someones BAD advice. Get the crossover tube and one or both fuel lines that go in the tanks. They're often shown in the suggestions of other parts to buy. AC Delco lists the correct part numbers if you need them. It is a BIG job to change a fuel pump in a Corvette. If someone writes up a how to and says anything but its hard and you will have problems, they didn't do it. It can be done on jackstands but it will take days likely. That's if your mechanically inclined and drop the rear or at least exhaust. Tank lines rip out when disconnecting the crossover tube. The lines that come in the new metal tube, thankfully; break when removing the old one. The old hard quick disconnects can require a tool to simply release them. Have fun connecting the lines to the new drivers side fuel pump halfway in the hole of the tank. Use two strings one for each line to pull them up once the pump is halfway in the tank, then connect them. If your a backyard mechanic and want to save cash go ahead. If your not too good working on cars, pay someone. I replaced both pumps with senders, crazy if you don't get senders. My Venturi passenger side pump sender was bad, gas gauge doesn't read over half a tank properly. Drivers side pump is only electric pump, passenger side is not powered but has a sender like the drivers side.

I was having an issue with the fuel pump and seen that this connector was also bad. I got the part quick and when I put it on, it was working flawlessly. Fit perfect on my 2011 grand sport corvette. I would definitely recommend to buy and the best part it’s genuine and came in the GM Genuine box.
