The electric wiring is not the standard one and it is not as described in product details. Someone made modifications on the wiring harness. The original regulator does not have the wire connected to it as shown in the image. See old original one on top and the one I received today where the wires are connected to the regulator.

The harness has changed a bit from our original (SUPER old!) one but no issues installing and works perfectly.

Was sent a bad regulator, unfortunately it’s past the return time so I am out of luck. Looked like it was rebuilt unit not new OEM.

I ordered this because it was said to be the same part. When I got it it had no plug which I I stand because it is used on a few different types of generators. But when I went to wire the new in all the wires didn’t match the numbers. So I had to figure the other two out. After about an hour i figured it out and tried it. It is working like it should.
