So I got this for my dad for his birthday. He’s a 72-year old mechanic who restores old cars at home now as he’s halfway retired. He would not stop raving about it – telling me all its features and how amazing it is. Basically I did a lot of research and this closed container that has a detachable funnel so it’s got a wide mouth for catching the oil is perfect because you don’t have to worry about is splashing out or spilling when moving it!

Got an old one from work and it worked great till it got a hole. I ordered another because the last one was so great and it’s my favorite oil catcher yet. Use it on anything from my arc’s, lawnmower, skid steer, trucks, etc. it’s great.

If you’re sloppy anything can make a gooey mess, but used with just a little care this pan is just about spill proof. The car I use this with isn’t particularly low to the ground, but the flat tank combined with the clever screw-on funnel design pretty much eliminates splash, even with antifreeze. I have happily discarded all of the (many) old, crummy pans I’ve used over the years, this makes them all obsolete.
