This was identical to the one that came out and fit perfectly. Very easy install for the most part, worked like a charm. My truck was locked in Anti-theft mode, and this corrected it immediately. Just plugged it and it started right up.

I couldn’t figure out why my truck suddenly wouldn’t turn on, hired some slime ball locksmith who charged me $200 just to tell me it was this piece that was malfunctioning, bought it and switched it out on my own after he tried to charge me more to install it. took me about 30 min trying to be careful with everything, but in the end it’s what got my truck starting.

Our old Ford Explorer was not starting and was throwing a code about the anti-theft system. After replacing this part we had to home someone come out and reprogram the anti-theft system. Now the car starts and runs again!
Billy Gorham –
Works, but still need to reprogram system.. Thank You.

It worked out just fine but needed to be programmed to key for vehicle to start up. Locksmith had to do it cost an additional $200. Just be prepared.
