FOBO TIRE 2 monitors tire pressure in real-time while driving or when within Bluetooth range. It detects a slow or fast leaks and alerts users to anomalies. It then transmits readings to an In-Car unit & smartphone where the user can browse. The user can set upper and lower thresholds of the air pressure for each axle. With an intelligent In-Car monitoring unit that works on its own or simultaneously with your smartphone, FOBO TIRE 2 monitors up to 800 kPa (116 psi) and gives you an alert in the absence of a smartphone. It will monitor the pressure with its smart algorithm and will provide 6-level of alerts when the thresholds are breached.

Works great for older cars that don’t have a tire pressure monitor system. Accurate monitoring in real time. They are kind of big and funky looking, but they work

Thought would be a great product ad they did work well BUT on critical problem. I was told by a tire installer to stay away from External sensors I DID NOT LISTEN. The sensors will bond and basically weld themselves to the valve stem threads. Sensor were not installed tightly just as described in the instructions. I removed them from my 2015 and it was a nightmare especially with steel valve stems. They were only installed in late May of 2021.As I already mention great idea they worked well for monitoring but when you have to remove to add air that’s were the problem begins. BEAWARE IF YOUR PURCHASINf anti seize lubricant is a MUSTGOOD LUCK NOT RECOMMENDED Ive remove them from both of my Motorcycles as well

To start off, I own the Fobo 2 motorcycle TPMS and was very happy with it before I bought this product. I ordered the silver version and the black ones came. I’m not sure who’s fault that was. Then I installed the monitors as per instruction and one monitor did not work. I wrote Fobo customer service and I had to do a lot of tests to show them why it was malfunctioning. They explained that that the product was defective from the factory and it was there fault. They explained that I had to do a series of things to fix it.I packed it up and shipped it back right away. Something that costs $159 and is 3 times more expensive as the next best thing should work right out of the box. Sorry, this is a buyers market and there are way too many competitors out there that get right the first time.

These 2’nd generation sensors work great! I have them on my pickup, two motorcycles, and two trailers. The main purpose of these is to know when your tire is going flat while driving. If you can stop soon enough, you can save your tire from being ruined. Stopping soon enough can prevent an accident too. One of my pickup tires costs about $350. An accident could cost you thousands, not to mention raised insurance rates. These work great because they send your phone a push notification when it detects a problem. When the app runs in the background, the app will let you know if your tire pressure is outside the range you set when you’re in bluetooth range. I was in the garage doing laundry when it said my front right tire pressure was low. I found the tire had a nail in it. I put the spare on that evening and I wasn’t late for work the next day. For any vehicle without pressure sensors, it’s a great investment!

This system is great. In the short time I have had this it has already saved me from replacing 2 tires. I have low profile 20″ tires, when punchered can go flat before you realize there is a problem resulting in a ruined tire. This system has alerted me twice to a leaking tire, giving me plenty of time to pull over before irreparable damage occurred. I highly recommend tis system.

I like the system, but hate that there is no phone contact. The warranty process is very difficult to ferret out of the website. At about 9 months into the 1 year warranty, 1 pressure sensor failed and showed as missing. During the required, scripted e-mail process of jumping through various hoops ( over a weeklong period ) to get a Return Material Authorization, a second sensor failed in the same manner. I added all of the required information to the e-mail string for the second sensor and asked for either a complete replacement or refund of purchase price. I was informed that my product is still under warranty, but is not refundable, and that they will ship (2) replacement sensors. I was also informed that the offices and shipping department were closed and my sensors will ship after the ramadan and eid elfitir, over a week later.Editing to update. A week and a half after posting the above review, another sensor has failed, this makes 3. I have sent an e-mail to notify them, but will have to wait overnight to get any response. I have reduced to 1 star due to the dismal reliability of this product and the convoluted “warranty process”.

For cars without all the bells & whistles of modern cars, this is a lifesaver. I was always lazy with checking my tire pressure, and now I don’t have to. I can check it anytime I want from my iOS device. Highly suggest buying. It’ll pay for itself in avoiding flat tires or damage to your tires.

This is a great product. It works perfectly on my Landcruiser 300 VX. The app is great and the internal receiver is small and unobtrusive. Very good value for money.
