Provides the same performance and exterior tone characteristics as the two chamber, but with less interior resonance. Constructed of 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for maximum durability.

It’s hard to believe that in 2013 I could buy a Flowmaster muffler for not much over $100.00. I had this installed on my 2008 Toyota 4Runner equipped with a 4.0L V6. It’s difficult to choose a muffler for a V6 at the risk of it sounding horrible. I did have the rear resonator removed as well. It is louder than stock for sure, but doesn’t sound that bad. It’s not obnoxious and was worth the purchase. I used this muffler in conjunction with some other minor performance mods. This simply topped it off. If you wanted something a little quieter I’d recommend the 60 series. I’m happy with the results and wouldn’t change my mind.

Good design that I believe will last the life of my truck. I have a 5.4 Ford and this definitely transformed the sound from “Air conditioner on wheels” to the deeper sound I wanted. However it’s definitely on the quiet side. I can hear it at highway speeds only if I have the radio off

The build quality and craftsmanship is typical Flow Master, and definitely five stars. However I was extremely disappointed when I put this on my 1996 F150 5.0… it sounds only a hair different than the stock muffler I took off and replaced it with. Honestly if I had it installed before Master myself and walked up to this truck I would think it was a stock exhaust. The description said minimal interior noise and moderate exterior noise it’s more like stock in stock. After talking to a few people and reading up some more online I learned basically it’s dependent on what engine it’s going on what diameter of tubing and how many catalytic converter‘s you have and how much pipe you have from the headers to the tailpipe. So you need to figure that out for your vehicle and not go based off of Flowmaster’s sound description. I can tell you on that an F150 Reg cab long bed with the 5.0 V8 motor and two factory catalytic converter‘s… It sounds completely stock!

Nice sound worked well on my 1998 BWM 540. It’s not too loud but that of course is relative to your tastes. On my 540 I have resonator removed and a single one of these mounted where the stock one was, cats still in place. Overall it has a good sound, there is no resonance cruising.

Little louder than i thought it would be but it sounds great! Went on a 2003 Durango with 4.7L V8

Very well built muffler. The discription was misleading, stated 309 stainless construction but, was aluminized steel. But, overall happy with purchase.

Perfect muffler for my 4.0 Jeep. Fit great and the sound is very quiet with just a slight sound. No drone. I’m just very happy. Its exactly what I wanted. You know how hard it is to find a quality quiet muffler.

Swapped out a hooker aero chamber for this, little quieter. nicer while towing. 5.3 w/o cats. Nice aggressive tone while on the loud pedal, nice and light cruising.

At first I wanted to get the super 44. But then my wife said she will kick me out if I get another super 44(had it before on a v8) . Hence, I went with this. And I am not disappointed at all. Very less drone and when I step on it, she roars. It’s a v6 not a v8 and I understand that. LOVE THIS TO THE CORE.

El sonido es moderado pero le queda bien a motores de 8 cilindros, ideal si quieres que solo se escuche al acelerar. En ralenti suene leve. En la cabina se percibe poco el sonido.
